    Motherboard Power switch

    I just got a new case and i have wires that are Power Led,Reset switch, HDD Led, Power switch. I cant find the connectors anywhere on the motherboard.


    Specs that might be usefull:
    Case: Haf-X
    Motherboard:N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX
    Memory: 6gigs

    This is a motherboard out of an HP Pavilion. Its case uses a block type connector, not separate connectors. Do you still have the HP original case?

      Therefore study the wires from the block connector to the HP Case front panel. You will probably need to cut the cable and join the right wires to the new case front panel wires, taking great care to observe correct polarity (or the LEDs will not light). If your electrical knowledge is not enough to do this task correctly, then maybe you should ask yourself if you really need a new case for a HP-brand motherboard.

        If you removed the board from the HP case don't you remember what you did? Look at the connector from the HP front panel and look at the motherboard and you will see where it goes.

        Why are you doing this? You just want a different case?

          i got it to work only the switch tho and no display but im doing this because my pc is getting old and very much overheating i got the case yesterday and my new video card, ram, and cpu cooler are coming tommorow
