    i just formatted my laptop(running on window xp)i have reinstalled all the necessary drivers and when i try to browse with any of my installed browsers(both internet explorer & opera.after loading it keep saying that page cannot be displayed & something like http://xxx.yyy.zz

    Are you trying to connect via wireless connection?  If so, have you tried connecting by cable?

    Try this: Open a Command Prompt panel (from All Programs, Accessories) and enter:
    Code: [Select]
    ping www.computerhope.com  What does the panel show for packets Sent, Received, and Lost?
