I ran through a blogs instructions on how to remove the XP Antispyware 2012 virus and downloaded super spyer and malbytes and thought that the virus was gone, but I feel like getting rid of the virus affected the computer in some way or that the virus is still on here... Now I have a balloon message in my right bottom corner of the screen coming from a red shield with an X on it. It says that automatic updates are turned off, well no matter what I do I can't turn those autmatic updates back on... Also when ever the computer starts back up it is not allowing me to open up exe files. I have to manually go in and add exe files to viewable files... I found computerhelp.com online and went into a free chat to ask around for help. The only thing they did was send me to
http://www.computerhelp.com/forum/index.php/topic,46313.0.htmlThat led me to go through all of the steps required on that stage including downloading Super Spyware and Malware Bytes again and all the other downloads required. I have the logs from the Super Spyware Malware Bytes and HijackThis scans, and here they are:
