    COnnecting printer by phone line

    Can anyone tell how do you connect a printer using a phone line. I have heard that you can connect a printer to a computer that is in a different place by the phone line.

    You must be confusing a fax printer with a PC printer.

      The printer sends a digital signal. The phone line an analog signal.

        ojas25.......I have seen a fax machine connected through a special interface so that it could be used as a printer ............
        My advice to you would be to talk to the person who has this printer connected to the phone line .........Get them to tell you how it works ......
