This is how to install an OS, namely Windows XP, by booting from the Install CD.

What problems do you have when your
computer couldn't copy the files at some stages.
? What errors are displayed? If so could you take a picture of your computer screen and show us what it looks like?

    sorrylove,
The forum requests that you include relevant details.
    Make and model of computer.?
    Which Windows system; Retail? OEM?
Why do you need to restore or replace the system?
(If there was a hardware failure, that has to be resolved first.)

File copy errors on an install, particularly on a clean install usually point to a miscommunication between the Cd-Rom or harddrive or Bad CD.

That means your Power Supply Unit might not be functioning properly.

We haven't tried resetting CMOS, have we? Try resetting your CMOS and during the Windows install, delete all partitions, and then create a new partition to install Windows in.

This is how to reset the CMOS.

The OP indicates that the problem started after he installed driver for a new device. That would never damage any power supply.

More likely the drive was corrupt from the down load and trashed part of the file system or even the hard drive ID.
