'dude' is a universal word, used in every possible corner of the globe, in every possible situation. also a name for anyone (stereotypically used by male but now accepted by any race, sex, religion, and wealth)

So, none, because a sphere doesn't have corners.

Actually, it's more elliptical. Or a squashed sphere, like someone sat on it.

Hmmm... What's the problem with "dude"? I don't get it. Please let me know if I offend someone so next time I will think first before post.

No problem with the word, it's just that I misread your user name and thought that it was Geek-9PM who used the word "dude". In the English speaking world, the word is mainly used by younger Americans, and I know that Geek-9PM is old enough to know better, that's all. In my country (Great Britain) if you go around saying "dude" to people, they will think either that you are a dork, or that you watch too much American TV and films.

So, you really don't know that dude is considered rude by some people, or by at least by some people in certain situations?  I think that indicates you live in your own world and aren't fully aware of how others may interpret the use of certain words.

I didn't know that anybody actually thought it was "rude" - I personally don't. I was being humorous (I thought!) in that the idea of Geek-9PM (a gentleman of a certain age) saying "dude" strikes me rather like an elderly educated fellow saying "OMG man! let's party! lolz!" (Is saying "dude really rude?) (Are you sure?)

"Dude" is considered a rude salutation...depending on the context it is used...

Rolls eyes. Sighs heavily. I already explained that I mis-read "geek hoodlum" as "Geek-9PM". Incidentally, are they related?
