WIndowa update problem

Some of the windows updates will not download. I get an error message Code 80070663. I have e-mailed Microsoft. They are are still trying to resolve the issue. Another problem which  I think is related is problems with Yahoo e-mail. When I click on the attach files button to look for a document the browse box never comes up. The specifications on my laptop are as follows.
Fujitsu
Windows 7 Home Premium
Service Pack 1
Intel Core i3 processor

and I would recommend using  ccleaner.

I uninstalled Office 07 and reinstalled and the updates work now
