Out of interest, why do you need to do this?

Well you see, I (and I'm sure my colleagues too) are just trying to think of legitimate reasons for doing such a thing.  There are good reasons why the action of formatting a drive requires confirmation.  A single-click approach is risky and potentially accident-prone.

Even if it were possible to do such a thing, I would be reluctant to recommend or offer a solution.  And since you haven't given any compelling reason why you need to do this (and since you are such a relative newcomer here), we have to treat your opening question with caution.  For all we know, you are a naughty ten-year old, hoping to trick his mum or dad into formatting their hard drives.

      You see the problem?

Boy!  This thread is all over the place and possibly even hijacked.

First the topic is to format a drive on a single click and then it jumps to removing a partition.
Make up your mind.....which is it? ???

I know how, but without a darn good reason, I won't tell.
