I reformatted my computer..win xp home edition and now I cannot access my help and support files

Do you see an error message? Have you tried running a Windows Update?

I dont get any errors it just wont open when I click on it and I did my updates. do I  maybe need service pack 2?

    If it's a recent fresh install of XP I'd do it again.
    You don't need problems from the very start.

    You may need to enable the Support and help files service in

    1. Start
    2. Run
    3. Services.msc

    But I would reformat as well if I were you. Unless you allready activated.

    Have you used Easy Cleaner by any chance?
