Stupidly deleted the ATI thing-lost color
« on: September 05, 2005, 07:17:11 PM »
:-[  i was deleting some files using the add/remove programs and accidently deleted a file that was ATI something or other.  After I rebooted my machine I found that I have lost the 32 bit and 256 bit color options.  My monitor is very grainy and hard to read.  I don't know what to do.  I have tried to re-install or run the setup for the ATI  Xpert 128 16MB AGP graphics card - and it seems to die when it comes to loading the graphics.  I tried something else that was ATI on my computer and it died on loading the graphics.  I tried going out and updating the drivers, but when I got to that one it told me to insert the ATI disk/cd rom and I don't have one of those - can anybody help?

Try restoring it to a previous state.

Remove the drivers and reinstall them.

    Driver Cleaner
