Microphone to speakers

Hi,

I am trying to have my microphone send its input to the speakers.

Conextant High Definition Speakers and Microphone- built in.

Laptop

Microphone is not muted.

Windows Vista

Help is appreciated.

What type of computer/model do you have and what are you trying to achieve?

Normally the Mic and speakers are not on at the same time.

It's an HP/Compaq (during hp's acquisition of compaq) and I want the microphone to send its input to the speakers. Is there a piece of software that can do that? That works?

Do you mean you wanna test your built-in microphone on onboard speakers if its working?

It works on my computer perfectly.

I'm also able to do it in the manner Transfusion describes.  My software panels look different from his but the general procedure for enabling the feature is the same.
