    Would I be able to boot an os if I were to partion my portable seagate 1tb hdd??

      I have a portabe 1TB HDD. Would I be able to install an OS and 'boot' from it?

      If so, are most OS capable?

      What OS are not capable?

      (OS installed on PC - Windows 7)

      (Portable HDD - Seagate 1TB)
