Help with downloading Adobe flash Player

I am not able to download Adobe Flash Player 11.  The installation starts and gets about 60% downloaded when a screen comes up asking me to close two programs, Internet Explorer and discgui.  I am able to close Internet Explorer but not discgui as I don't have this program.  Would appreciate your expert advice for a novice.

Download directly from the adobe site.
