Help! Why is it that I cant stream online videos one after another?

Hi, my computer is new, and I've been wondering what is my problem here. Everytime I want to click on a new link to watch another video, my internet browser window stops responding so it gets jammed and I always have to restart the browser just to stream the next video. I tried to use a different browser, like firefox but the same problem still occurs.
Does anyone know the solution to this?? It would be a great help!

Travel to SpeedTest and run the online test...

Broadband. But not very fast connection.

Could you be more specific as to what the "videos" that are causing the problem are from (source). Don't need to know the specific videos (unless they are only a few specific ones). What about if you go to a streaming TV video source? Are they reacting the same way? Do those types run a while then buffer or what?truenorth

Video sources from any website at all. Like from youtube, facebook videos, daily motion etc. I just can't seem to just switch to another video using the same window. I have to open a new window to load another video. Its quite irritating

I note that you have tried an alternative browser to IE. I would like you to try one more browser "Opera" just to give a better indication if the problem is browser related. You have not indicated in response to my earlier question if you are going into buffering mode in the process of trying to view a video so can we assume you are not? truenorth

Did you do this?  What was the result? 

How about some info on your computer specifications?  What OS?  How much RAM?  What CPU?  Size hard drive?  Free space on hard drive? 

And, on the software side, what Internet security protections are you running?

Another thing to ask is where are you clicking on the next video? Within the current player window? (Many sites have clickable thumbnails that display other videos related to the one you just watched) Or somewhere else? (Links outside the video player, like down the side of the screeen or links below the video)

Have you tried reinstalling Flash Player?

Do you have the most up-to-date version of flash installed?
I think they're up to v11.1.102.55 now.
