    wireless router setup

    Morning,my computer is on the opposite wall to my telphone connection.so i have a extension wire,halfway across the house along scurtain boards over doorways.
    unsightly.so i would like to get rid of it ,but how do i do it .i have heard /read ,about routers and modems ,that you hide away,but other than that i know nothing .can i buy somthing like this that would do the job,if so can you reccomend one.

    We need to know if you have a modem or router that has a wireless capability by posting the model. Is the computer a desktop or laptop?

      thanks for the reply jason .i have netgear router from sky ,and i am on a desktop.
      All the router manufacturers make various models.  Some have wireless capability, some do not.  Exactly what model do you have?
