Hi, I have a few folders that I think have got infected with a virus. All the folders have changed into shortcuts, but the hard drive is full implying that the files are there in store. but when I double click on a shortcut, it doesn't open and the following message is displayed

"Windows cannot find \RECYCLER\e5188982.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."

Obviously, I have done both but no luck. Can anyone help me in trying to open these folders.

Thanx a million as I have some important docs in those folders
