    ethernet adapter disconnected after bitdefender uninstall

    good day, we are having a big problem on our pc, windows xp xp3...
    after uninstalling bitdefender 2012, we cannot connect to the internet.
    ethernet adapter = media disconnected in ipconfig
    error 10050 when we try starting windows firewall in services.msc
    also, we cannot start firewall in control panel, ics cannot be started...
    please help us out. this is the only way we can communicate with family. please please
    let us know if we need any info
    also, the pc is directly connected to a wifi router, and we can access internet using mobile phone browser but not the pc...
    limited or no connectivity, stuck at acquiring network address

    For a starter, try another port on the router and swap another working cable. Check your LAN network IPv4 Properties and make sure all are on Automatic.
