    Palm M100 No Display
    « on: February 04, 2012, 07:55:35 AM »
I have a palm m100.  I never really used the thing an used recharageables so that I wouldnt have to keep getting replacements.  Thing is that I tried usein non rechargeables an there still isnt anything displayed.

I used to have 3 of these, all of them, without warning suddenly stopped working and the screens went dead. Its a flaw with them unfortunately, sent two of them away to Palm for repairs, worked another month or two then died.

There's not alot of use having one of these anymore, as a £20 phone will do pretty much everything one of these did...

He could at least TRY resetting it before declaring it dead. Judging from his posts, he hasn't.

I used to have one of these, by the way so the answer to your question is NO. I DO know what I'm talking about. I snooze, you loose! Also, I spell better. DOUBLE COMBO WIN.

A hard reset doesn't work... these things just die. The two I sent away to Palm needed components replacing.

                    kay, thanks Patio.

Seems that it has some kind of power issue.  Reseting it seems to make it work again till its like passworded or somethin

                    Are you using rechargeable batteries?

Try it with quality non-rechargeables, see if that makes a difference.

think that I had tried that.  I'll let you know near the end of the week.  I was useing those before it seemed pointless an just use recharageables
