PC wont start into windows

Switched it off last night with no problems , turned it on to day it asked me for a boot disk , so inserted windows cd i have, follwed instructions, chosed not to format and reinstall but repair

Now all it does is load up to ;

Updating ESCD ....Success

veryfying DMA POOL DATA ........

And then it stops , .. very strange , dont know what to do would love if any1 can help

Try repairing it once more.

But before you do so, be certain that the Hard Disk Drive is set as the first boot device and that all other boot devices are removed.
