Is Roller Coaster Tycoon not compatible with XP?
« on: July 06, 2004, 11:58:35 AM »
I have a Windows XP and Roller Coaster Tycoon (1) is not listed as compatible with XP.  :-/ But I own older games that can successfully operate with my system, so is it possible that Roller Coaster Tycoon will function correctly?  ???  (Maybe I'm just in denial  :P)

And I bet you got back up and running with not too much hassle but learned something along the way.  If you toast your system it's not such a big deal really.  It sucks, don't get me wrong, but it's probably not life/death.

It is very unlikely that you will damage your system by running a game such as Rollercoaster Tycoon. It simply cannot stress modern machines in order to damage anything.

Correct me if I am wrong there. It's a theory.
