Quad SLI, Sound Card, 3d LCD How do they Connect?
    « on: February 13, 2012, 05:34:30 AM »
I'm getting a PC made by Digital Storm.  Windows OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit Edition)

The components I'm concerned about are the

Graphics Cards:  2x SLI Quad SLI (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 3GB)

Sound Card:  Auzen X-Fi Hometheater HD 7.1 (Model: AZTHTHD02817) (PCI-Express Slot Based)

    Monitor:  NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 Kit (Asus 27 inch 120Hz VG278H + NVIDIA 3D V2 Glasses)

The following image has been taken from the Sound card company (Auzen) and doctored with the connection interfaces of my Graphics cards and Monitor

I'd like to know if these components are compatible and exactly how they connect, or if hooking my Graphics cards into the Sound Card is even needed

The sound card relies on the graphics card's HDMI sound output.
You can also do this, though:
