    Sequence of images to video?
    « on: February 15, 2012, 09:57:58 PM »
    Pretty much read the title.

I made a sequence of 300+ PNGs with Google SketchUp and the great plugin SketchyPhysics.
I want to convert it to an AVI or WMV format video so I can edit it with Movie Maker.

I have spent hours upon hours Googling, downloaded and uninstalled several programs due to errors, horrible quality, and other problems.

Does anyone have any idea how I can convert my animation to a decent video format?

In Soviet Russia, iPhone touch you. Computer shut you down. Mouse click you. Floppy inserts you. Yahoo answers you. Man in TV watches you. Computer game addicts you. Guitar shreds you. Motherboard fries you. The laughter in manslaughter is put back in.

That doesn't work with SketchyPhysics, a plugin.
However, I will try VirtualDub and get back to you if it works. Thanks.

The time to edit is past, so I have to make a new post.

It works great, except for one thing:
The image was slanted 45 degrees, looking totally weird.
I would post a screenshot (believe me, I tried), but my computer is being very moronic today and doesn't like me.

        ...sometimes my computer scares me.

...or maybe it's tinypic that is omitting part of the image.

I'm using my old computer today, maybe when I'm on my better one tomorrow I can get it to work.

I'm so jealous of computers! They don't have anything to be stressed about, so they get to make other people (like me) stressed all day!

I used to get slanted output all the time.. Its usually in B&W too. The fix is to make sure that your output file is in a multiple of 16.. ie, 720x304, 720x320, 720x336..etc

You can also use VirtualDub to take the PNGs you already have and turn them into a movie

Thank you so much! It worked awesomely (if that's a word).

          A 'thank' for you. :)
