    Microsoft Frontpage 2000 error message
    « on: March 16, 2012, 10:02:20 PM »
I did an update on some things to my website - I use microsoft frontpage 2000 - and in doing so, it all of a sudden stopped working for me. I made my changes, saved them and hit the 'publish' button. It starts to upload all changes then gets to 'publishing web updates' and then shuts down with an error message of 'the server unexpectedly closed the connection'.

I have 2 websites that are used with this same program. I can make changes and publish them just fine on one of the sites but all of a sudden I am not able to do so on the other.

    Any suggestions?

So your computer is still useable with the exception of when you try to update the web page correct? If that is the case why not deal with the web site administrator for assistance? truenorth

I'm not sure that talking to themselves is likely to clear up the problem...

I never have had a personal web page but my wife has had some. In every case while she has been responsible for maintaining the page in all it's aspects there HAS always been a service to which she has subscribed that actually provides the vehicle for the site to exist. Could that NOT be the case in this instance? truenorth
P.S/ It just came to me aren't they called "hosts" ?
P.P.S Don't however rule out the advantages of talking to one's self. I have revised many a would be bad decision by doing just that. ;)

Sounds like a connection issue to me...
