How do I host a server without portforwarding or Hamachi?
    « on: March 30, 2012, 09:26:12 PM »
I would like to create a Minecraft and/or CoD4 server without forwarding my ports or using programs like Hamachi. I know this is possible as I have a friend who has done it.

    Oh well then.  ;)

Did your friend give any indication how?  There are lots (LOTS) of different ways of giving a server a logical presence on the internet.  But for most purposes, unless you REALLY want to accept all the hassle that comes with pro server hosting, just use port forwarding.  Is there a particular reason why you can't?  Like you don't have admin access to your router?  If you are trying to circumvent a firewall, you might have come to the wrong forum.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
