radeon 256mb 9550 or 128mb 9600xt
« on: April 29, 2012, 02:58:29 PM »
Trynna play swtor
Currently using the 9550 but when Im in game interface shoes but everything else is black

If I put in my 9600xt do you think it could work?
take required 256 MB card with shaded 3.0
but recent updete allows 2.0
So maybe 9600xt may work?

I know these both old, but its what I got atm

The 9600XT has the R300 which supports DX9 and Shader Model 2.0... SWTOR requires an X1800 at minimum. Try the SM 2.0 enabler patch you mentioned earlier and see if it helps...

Yeah it would work, no frills... can't really go wrong here the HD 3650 is ancient by today's standards... Its a good idea to go cheap and then save the money for a nice, big upgrade in the future ;)
