    Removing unwanted iMech
    « on: May 18, 2012, 02:33:49 PM »
A program, Wincor Media, has found its unwanted way on to my computer.   It is shown to be published by iMech.  I have tried to uninstall it using CCleaner, but then get a message, 'error 5. Access Denied'.  Can anyone advise me on how to get rid of this unwanted intruder?  I'd really appreciate any help.  I'm using Windows 7 on an Acer AX 3300.

You do not think it is Spyware. Is that right?
How do you know it was "published by iMech" ?
    Did you install it?
Did you first use the normal way to remove a program?
Did you know that CCleaner fails when using Windows 7?
