    hello i got a question is core the same as CPU? because i got a temp sensor and says cpu runs at 46 and core 57 and their never the same but the core always runs at higher temp

    What processor do you have? What temperature software are you using? Each cpu has at least one core inside, and some have two temp sensors- one inside the core and on the cpu casing, so maybe this explains what you are seeing.

      my cpu is AMD althon 64 2800+ only one core software xensors(ubuntu)
