Well, neither you nor BaconButtie appear to know very much about what Usenet (not "Usenets") is or how it works. Yes, it can be used to distribute child and adult pornography, copyrighted material, hate speech, communist propaganda, whatever, as well as hobby discussions, free software, programming advice, pictures of boats, educational material and a squillion other things, but so can the World Wide Web which came later. To answer the question which you appear to have been asking, material hosted on Usenet servers is put there by the people who uploaded it. Usenet is not "owned" by anybody. My ISP provides a free server with 30 day retention, no logging, and unlimited downloads. Certain groups known to contain extreme or child pornography are blocked, I expect that stuff helpful to terrorists is blocked too. Users help to police this by reporting objectionable material.
The thing is, there is a very great deal of material on the Web explaining what Usenet is, and how it functions, and it may have appeared to the moderator that you were just wasting chat bandwidth asking something that you could easily have used Google for. You reinforced that impression of being a chat room clutter generator by talking back and whining about the warnings you were given and threatening to post screenshots as you have now done. utlimately that is probably what you were banned for - being a nuisance. Take care that the same thing does not happen here. In any case Chat is a fast moving medium and mods have to make quick decisions based on the best interests of all the users, which includes not having to wait for dozens of lines of whining to pass by. You don't have an automatic "right" to post whatever you like. Bottom line is "don't antagonize the mod".
