    I am trying to convert the numbers in my Word documents into barcodes. What do I need to do? I am using Microsoft Word 2010

    You can get and install a barcode font, and learn how to use it properly.

    Have you already searched for information on how to do  create bar codes in  Microsoft Word 2010?
    Bar code add in for Word

    If you need just a few items translated, you can find one of many web sites that will generate a JPG image that you can paste into word.

    EDIT: Salmon Trout has the better idea, but there is some work you have to do.

    Using one of the two free fonts from the site that Geek linked to: (The numbers underneath are in Arial and were added by me)

    It is a "3 of 9" barcode type. You should check what kind of barcodes you need to generate, as they are not all the same format.

    i always used this font to create barcode font here the link it free for personal user

    or u cant go here for many choice.. free for personal

    many more site offer free dingbat for barcode.. u just need to search the keyworad "free dingbat font download" n look around fro any barcode, some listing under bussiness like above, some maybe under other tag. so search wisely.

    after download just copy n paste it in ur font folder in system folder n there u go.

      Normally, it is easy to create barcode in Word documents by using a. Barcode add-in works in the similar way of other common apps. No programming skills and barcode knowledge are required.

      why need to have skill since u just did it for fun or fancy like i do, if u want to do it for bussiness the pay one in idautomation site it suite u more. the font is the simple way to ,ake any type of barcode from word to number fro any purpose except bussiness since it free fro personal used. i tried many but idautomation is sneaky in look n just perfert. it simple type n go. no limit of character n size. i used in phtoshop too. n most common word processor can be used it since font base fromat. u type n i whoop into barcode. then deit it to ur like n need like colour, size, width n such wth ease. no installation required just extracted the font to font system flder n u ready to go. here font organise n installation program that will helpu chose fnt when u doing some work, it can preveiw n many more function include find duplicat font. it free
