in this site i saw two drivers:

RIVA128 Driver for Windows 9x AGP

RIVA128 Driver for Windows 9x PCI

How to know that my driver will be suited for AGP or PCI?

    I have NVidea Riva 128/128ZX

and want to download a driver suited.

Just open the case and look at the card.  :o

Is it in a white PCI slot? If so, it is a PCI. If in a dark slot that looks different for all of the others, it is an AGP of some sort. If your monitor is not plugged into a card, but something else directly on the motherboard, you have ionboard graphics (but probably not nVidia)

i downloaded both the agp and pci one.

        GXI_MAN:

I opened my PC and could not quite locate whether it was agp or pci
because there are both white and dark slots.(two RAMS were inserted into black slots , while the NIC was inserted into white slot.
I also was unable to locate the video CARD

I downloaded EVEREST and it showed this:

        Device Description      NVidia RIVA 128/128ZX

I tried to installed the two , first the PCi which could not load.

then i tried AGP and fortunately it loaded.

        ojas25, thanks for the help.

Did you look where the monitor plugged in? It was either a standalone card, or a plu soldered on the motherboard.

Glad you are up and running.
