Whole partition lost suddenly
« on: June 22, 2012, 12:02:08 AM »
I am using win7 64 bit and having 4 partiotions on 320 gb hdd, or better to say was.
before some time i was watching movie on my laptop, i paused movie, and had some water, and on return explored the my computer.
all of surprize, the partition 'E' which was logical partition, was lost.
i looked into computer management>disk mamagement and found it's showing the same 80.16 gb free space.

So i tried minitool partition wizard home edition 7.1......used it's partition recovery wizard....but all in vain....it showed that the partition is recovered......but in my computer there is no change.......only three partitions are shown there........
i tried restarting twice too but nothing helped.....
i was neither connected to net nor any change in computer is made ....

It was just the movie playing on screen.......

Please help me as soon as possible because that partition contained a lot of personal stuffs including many documents.
Best Regards

Additionaly i had scanned the available partitions by microsoft security essential and malwarebyte antimalware, as only this i can do.
but no threat detected.
