Motorola XOOM
« on: June 27, 2012, 09:16:54 PM »
I recently got a Motorolla XOOM Android tablet. I never thought I would own anything Motorola but I must admit this thing is a pretty darn good device. It was a gift... from my ex! WOW!! Saying that out loud is actually pretty frightening if you get my drift... Posted Image

If you are ever up in the air about going with a Motorola device my suggestion is give it a try.

A review of the history of Motorola makes good reading.
Just a few years ago the company lost billions of dollars. And then came back.

A very important part part of the company is now owned by Google.

While companies with environmental violations frequently are mostly to blame it sounds like it was a true accident.

The TCE contamination was caused by a faulty blower on an air stripping tower that was used to take TCE from the water....

I think Google is feeling pressure to get their own hardware development going or at least gain a partner they can fully trust to stay with them. Samsung is Androids biggest OEM but some think they are showing signs of jumping ship and going on their own against Android and Apple. Source

Ice Cream Sandwich just hit for me. Good stuff.

Now I wonder how long before Jelly Bean hits. Rumors are mid July and lucky me the XOOM is on the short list of  devices first in line. :-)

I had seen a few images of it but not the video.

I wonder if they would give me that if I asked really nice? It would go good on eBay I'm sure haha!
