    License

    Hi All,

I recently purchased a family pack for Win 7 Home Premium, I have used it twice. On my laptop I updated it from Vista to Win7, if I do a full reinstall on the laptop, will I still be able to do this without using up another license?

    Appreciate any assistance.

Read the EULA. Every PC or laptop is an instal.

The only possible exception is if the laptop already has a void  upgrade option license for Windows 7. But if that  were the case, you would have received the update DVD by now. That special deal was some time ago.

What you need to do instead of burning up another liscens on the laptop just because of a clean install is use magicjellybean finder to retrieve the laptop #'s code...
Then when you re-install use that valid # and you won't waste an install from the Family pak...
