How do you remove the network from a computeR?

Hey, i just a new computer from my school, and it already has a network on from when the school used it, how do i remove the netowrk, and how can i upgrade it?

If you mean "How do you remove the network protocols" here is how:

1. Right-click on My Network Places (or on Network Neighborhood in Windows 98) and select Properties
2. Right-click on the network connection you wish to remove.
3. If Delete is not available from the context menu, choose Properties
4. In Network Properties, select the General tab.
5. Select each property one at a time and click the Uninstall button until all are removed.
6. Select OK to close the dialog box.
7. Close the Network Connections window.
