    Windows Explorer has stopped working...
    « on: July 29, 2012, 04:07:29 AM »
    Dear Experts,

When I rightclick on some folder in Windows Explorer on my Windows 7, I get a message saying that Windows Explorer has stopped working? Any idea why this is happening? How can I fix it?

    some folder in Windows Explorer

Any folder or just one particular folder?

Did you make any changes to the computer right before this started happening? Like install a new program, download something, change any settings, install any new hardware, any changes at all?

Do you have the same problem in safe mode?

ya, i keep downloading dtuff. But from trusted sources. Anyways, the problem suddenly stopped. If it continues, then I will try right-clicking stuff in Safe Mode. Yes it happens to every folder. Thanks for replying :D

You may be infected...what protection apps do you run ? ?

Update and run all of them.
