how do you delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Enum in dos

every one sez my problom with msmouse.vxd will be fixed if i delete the enum file and let dos reset the drives and hardwhere setings but how do i delete it know one seems to know  and hay where is it i can not even find it to do any thing with it???? plz help

    Its not a file, its a registry entry. Why not explain the problem you are having and see if we can solve it.

    the problum is that the systum will not boot it fails at the msmouse.vxd on a step by step set up with a message about insuficant memory to run windows but the bios see 2 gigs and it tests good i tryed to reflash the bios still the same tryed to reformat still same tryed 3 diffrant copys of windows 98, xp ,and xp sp2 all the same the systum will not boot in safemode with or with out cd support all the posts on this foum and 2 others sed to delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Enum to fix but i am stuck

    ok small update i talk to asus withch has no idea what thay r doing big suprise thay want me to pay them to fix the bourd i took out of the box yesterday when i try to up date the bios it sez wright protect error on loading the update but it backs up the cruent bios to the same disk 2 secs after so right now i am stuck with that fix too cus it will not update the bios and asus will not tell me how to flush the bios thay just say it is in the book for the bourd and i looked in that long befor i called
