Thank you for the one mini dump but with not supplying any of the PC's information / specs I can't give you a link but the "0x1000008e" usually points to a bad driver or the PC needs the BIOS to be updated. ***I would not update the BIOS yet and should only be done as a last resort***
First go to the PC manufactures web site and update all your drivers starting with the Chipset drivers first then do the Video card drivers, NIC card, sound card drivers.
I Also would go to your camera's web site and update the drivers and software for it.
