copying accented pdf documents into word 2010
    « on: December 16, 2012, 11:09:52 AM »
    Hi:
I checked previous posts and didn't find an answer to this question.
I need to copy a large accented pdf document into word 2010.
I know there are a couple of ways to do this; either via the Win7 character map,
    or the Wd2010 symbol map.
These are fine if you are only dealing with a limited number of accented
characters, but if you've got several hundred (rough count) of accented
characters is there anything a little more expedient you can do?
    Thank You

I have done this in Word 2003 and 2010. I just highlight some text (or choose "Select All") in the PDF, and then Edit, Copy, then in Word, choose "Paste". You will have to manage the layout in Word yourself, but the accented characters copy just fine.
