    Task Manager has no 'Dropdoens'?
    « on: December 18, 2012, 05:15:51 AM »
Hiya Fella's!     I got a query about my 'Tak Manager' display menu mates.    As I understand it, when Task Manager is opened, one is presented with some menu choices.   Well my Task manager doesn't have any choices, other than to disable the running programs ?????    Has anyone had this and is there a solution guys??????   :(   :(

Or double-click anywhere on the window border to toggle between normal and simple views.

Double-click an empty area of the window. You've probably accidentally double-clicked it before and put it into small-footprint mode, which is what you have shown there.

An empty area, of course, being a place OUTSIDE the list or the buttons.

Try DOUBLE clicking on the blank border area just to the left of the End Task button at the bottom of the panel.  You have more space to work with there than at top or the sides.

What other double-clicking actions do you sometimes do?  I'm wondering whether you are just not clicking at the right speed when you double click.

Are you doing this? ("Click" means "double click")

Once again yous guys have come up trumps!    It took a bit of doing!   I went all around the fringe of the border clicking away like mad.  Nothing was happening until .suddenly the correct menu appeared.  Flipping Heck!  Thanx Guys!

if you had this happen unexpectedly, and then found it very hard to reverse, maybe you should consider if your mouse is working properly.

Also, double-click time might be too short.
