    Wireless poe with unmanaged switch
    « on: January 02, 2013, 07:26:07 AM »
Had to move my wireless isp dish to my shed for better signal because of growing trees. The router is in the house and already setup. I have a cat5 cable from my shed to the house. Will I be able to use an unmanaged switch by going into the switch with the poe interface box thus feeding the signal to the router in the house with the cat5 cable. Then connect my shed computer into the switch. Will this work?
I didnt want to re-do my wireless in the house as it feeds my laptops and tv. The shed is too far away for a good wireless connection for my house and im trying to shy away from another router in the shed. This is a similar poe Im using.

    Thank for any help!
