    Want to stop .tmp file creation

    I am new to computer . Every time I open  a MS word and excel file a tmp file is also opened. Iwant to stop it. How can I do that. Will it be the same for access and other MS office files also? I have not yet tried.

    Normally MS Office temp files are deleted if the application (Word, Excel, etc) is closed properly. If they are remaining something is wrong.
