ASUS AI disables startup programs
« on: January 25, 2013, 01:58:18 PM »
I installed ASUS AI from my motherboard's driver installation CD, and now every time I turn on my computer and log in, the screen goes black (but the cursor is visible). The only way to get past this is to end the explorer.exe process via Task Manager and start it up again. It's also disabled COMODO from starting up properly, even though it shows up in MSCONFIG. I don't especially want to uninstall ASUS AI unless I really have to, but is there any other way to resolve this?

He's playing a game called IRL. Great graphics, *censored* gameplay.

That's mostly for hardware issues. This is caused by their software. I checked out their forum, same thing too. It's all about their hardware.

So it might have actually been Folding @ Home that did it. I uninstalled that and (other than the black screen, which goes away) everything starts up properly.
