1 long beep and three short beeps

 after I put more memory in my computer my monitor went blank. After rebooting it makes one long and three short beeps. The monitor  does not work now. I tried taking out the extra memory, but it still makes still makes the same pattern of beeps and monitor still does not work. Iam useing windowa 98 se Any suggestions would be great.  :-/

make sure your VGA card and your RAM is fixing properly, or if neither way try to check your RAM /AGA speed in BIO setup, if still the same problem then u have to check ur processor
