Using REAPER as a guitar amp
    « on: January 25, 2013, 08:44:48 AM »
Hello, I just received my electric guitar not too long ago, and I was hoping to use my computer as an amp due to the shortage of money at the moment.  I have everything I need, and have gotten it to work a few times, but was wondering on how to get VST plugins to output sound when I play.  I'm also having trouble playing while on Skype vise versa.   I'm no sure what is causing this, I have my microphone headset set as my default communication device and my line-in set as my default device.  (anything else will cancel one or both out).

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on a machine with 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, 2 TB 7200 RPM Seagate Hard Drive, NVIDIA GTX 560 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card, AMD Phenom II x4 3.7GHz Processor.
