    Hi, i recently dug up an old laptop, and tried to turn it on. however, it wants a password which ive forgotton. i went into safe mode and tried to get access via administrator login, but i password protected that too!! does anyone know of a way round this, apparently there is something to do with an SAM? or i can download something onto my mem stick (flash drive) and put it into the laptop during start up? thanks for your help guys :)

      Ah, the good old forgotten password story... take it to an official dealer for that brand with proof of legal ownership and be prepared to pay for a password reset.

        Its pretty old and I cant find anything other than the bag its in. ive got the holagraphic sticker on the laptop with the code thing, will that do?
