wan't to replace motherboard on baby AT computer.

Where do I start? How do I make sure i get the right one for a baby AT computer. Someone said he needed to know the socket number, where do I find that on my motherboard? They seem hard to find.

Hold the motherboard up to a light source............or go to the makers website........who made the pc.

When I hold it up to a light, what am I looking for.  And where about do I look on the board.

you should see a series of numbers/letters on it.........what cpu did it have?......other clues may help like the ......marking on those black square things on the mobo.......

    Any baby AT board fits inside an AT case.

    The socket indicates the type of processor you have.
