    Icons not responding; error message.
    « on: February 15, 2013, 08:40:43 AM »
    Technologically challenged, I'm sorry.
After my husband downloaded a program last night, I found that my icons won't show up normally and when I click them, it shows me a message that says: "C:/Program Files (x86)/Skype.Phone.Skype.exe Application Not Found".
    Can this be corrected?
    Thanks!

What program did he download and install?

    Are you sure about this:
    C:/Program Files (x86)/Skype.Phone.Skype.exe

    That should be:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe

Did you mistype it or did it actually say "C:/Program Files (x86)/Skype.Phone.Skype.exe"?

    Obviously it was mistyped.

Lavi - WHAT icons don't show? Please explain EXACTLY what is happening when you boot your system, what the problem is, and when the message appears.
