Email "names" in Outlook Contacts
« on: October 07, 2005, 12:03:22 PM »
Can someone PLEASE tell me how to make e-mail addresses show up as e-mail addresses in Outlook 2000?  After I sync'ed my PDA, all the addresses are now displayed by their handle.  I want to "see" the actual e-mail address again, because I don't use Outlook for e-mail.

    Hi

I'm using 2003 but the process is the same.

Open your contacts folder, then double click on the name you want.

In the top right hand corner you have the email address and then underneath that 'Display as...' Just type in how you want it to be displayed in your list and voila!

    HTH.
