i have a file that will not play or convert it is an .mp4$ and i dont know what is going on with the ($) but it will not play no matter what i have tryed. i shot the video with my htc phone and it will not even play on that. how can i get this to play?

Did you try installing the HTC phone software on the PC ? ?

yes, i cant even play it on my phone

Then somehow the file got damaged.
