I have a neygear N150 wireless usb adapter that is causing my computer to reboot.  with adapter connected computer reboots every 2 minutes. unplugged the adapter and computer ran for 3 hours no problem. reconnected adapter and computer started rebooting again. tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no help. do I need to get a new adapter? this one is only 2 months old.

If you can, try installing it on another computer.
If the other computer keeps shutting down too, then the adapter is defective.

If you can't try it on another computer, I'm sure you could exchange it from the place you bought it.
